Kahilah Hama means "black-eyed of Hama" (as in painted with kohl). Hama is the Syrian area her parents are from, and the reference to eye make-up comes from the markings around her eyes, which were particularly pronounced when she was a tiny pup.

Kahilah lives in Suomusjärvi with a young family with children,  the Cornish Rex Uska and the young COO Saluki bitch Yuzak Suspiria.
